The
Instructor

John Merideth is a certified yoga
instructor teaching the Ashtanga method. He Has been studying and
teaching yoga for more than 18 years. John believes strongly in the
authentic transmission of classical ashtanga yoga as taught by Sri
K. Pattabhi Jois (the 90 year old living master of ashtanga yoga).
As such, his teaching style is very “hands on.”
He utilizes manual adjustment techniques along with the
proper vinyasa method to help students uncover the deepest possible
awareness in each posture. Working within the framework of
classical ashtanga yoga,

This retreat is suitable for all levels. A basic understanding of the Ashtanga Primary Series will be helpful but is not required. Some of the classes will explore more specialized areas, such as hip opening, back bending or vinyasa flow, partner work, etc..

many miles inland.

the kind of flashy marine creatures one goes snorkeling to

Mexico's most visited pre-Hispanic site. Tulum was a very important
